So, here's where we can come and post those things that are on our hearts that we wanna ask prayer for.
Felt the urge to start this because I wanna ask prayer for the families that lost people in that storm that tore through the Southern USA yesterday and the day before (I think). I know 2 were killed over in Murfreesboro, TN (A mother and a 9 mo. old baby), and if I am not mistaken, more lives were taken in Arkansas. It came through Tennessee yesterday, and Praise God Nathan and I are both fine, as are our families, but for others the same story doesn't apply.
Let's keep them in our prayers. It's just heartbreaking.

Well , as some people may know , I actually moved to Murfreesboro starting around 7am..... We were all done with all our stuff at out new house in Murfreesboro at around 10am where they started to make notes about the storm... It was around Noon when we started to hear a noise... and we ran into a closet. I heard so much crashing...in that closet...We were in the closet for about an hour... We started to come out of the closet...Glass was everywhere. All of our windows were broken... The garage was gone... The roof...gone..on one side... The fire department and Police department were in the area..because the 2 deaths were like 4 miles away....on Penny Lane/Compton Lane... The interstate was shutdown... No one could get in and out... Houses were destroyed more toward the other end of Murfreesboro... Right now , we are staying with one of my mom's friends... Today , we bought the last of the roof supplies....and new windows...and the Volunteers (Praise the Lord for them!) helped us put a new roof up and installed the new windows... We also started to clean up the garage that was poof...(It wasn't attached to the house)..We are going to make it to a mega size patio so we can eat outside... (because there is a door to the kitchen near)... I think we can get through this...It is just going to take some time.. and volunteers... This is like what Julie said heartbreaking...

I'm praying for you guys, and the families there. I can't begin to imagine how you feel, Nathan. I'm just glad you guys are okay.
I have a friend who used to be so close to God, she was doing well in school, and she loved life. She began going out with a kid who's an atheist, and ended up losing her virginity. The next day, he broke up with her. Then he said he missed her, about two weeks later. She went back to him, had sex again, and then he once again broke up with her. She because somewhat depressed, and began cutting. She carved 'I HATE YOU' into her arm, as well as her thighs. She was losing faith, I can tell. Her grades were falling. I talked to her a couple times, about what happened. She doesn't think that cutting is a big deal, she doesn't want me to worry, she says. But I do. I'm afraid this will escalate. A friend of hers who is in college started sending her nude pictures over her phone. She's had a crush on him for some time now. I told her not to send them back, not to encourage him. She didn't listen to me. She sent pictures back. We went to a weekend getaway together, and the college guy was there. He apologized to her and asked forgiveness. They both deleted the pictures and prayed. She's been trying to get closer to God now, and her grades are rising again. But I'm sill worried. She has a rocky relationship with her parents, and they're dragging her down. I'm trying to help her all I can. Please pray that I can help her, and that she can continue growing closer to God.

Sending pictures that way is against the law.. She is in my prayers. How awful.
Volunteers are the light here. NBC Nightly News was on my street today...(How freaky) ....and We are back at our house now thanks to these Volunteers from a catholic church. (just with out a garage). They just left... They have been here for 12 hours.. Now , it is just the other end of town....

Nathan: That's so amazing that those volunteers came and helped yall!! But yea..the other side of town...you've said it's pretty bad out there. So sad.
Julia: That's really hard to read; I've had a friend kinda go down the same road, though not so far. I'll keep you and your friend and her family in my prayers. Hope all goes well there.

Nathan: I'm sure you guys are getting lots of prayers thanks to the news coverage, though. That's good that you're back in your house.
Julie: How did you help your friend? I want to be able to do something...anything.

Julia: I haven't really known what to do to help Ashley (my friend) out. I began by trying to just talk to her about stuff and hear her out while telling her what I thought (in a friendly manner of course) But, that didn't work. She just kinda shrugged me off, and nowadays she doesn't really talk to me a lot; I just see her in the hallways sometimes and she says hey. But at this point she knows that if she needs to talk to anybody, I'm here. I'm just here for her right now if she needs to talk to somebody about something. "shoulder to cry on" sorta thing. We aint very close.
Nathan: Yeah all that attention can get kinda crazy I'm sure. Maybe it'll die down pretty soon

Julie: I hope so too... Julia: Sadly , the only way she is going to get it is through something bad happening...Sadly.. I am still praying.

Julie: That's what I'm doing. I'm trying to lead her back to God as much as I can, I think that will really help her.
Nathan: I hope nothing bad happens. Is it still crazy down there?
